Considering Less Than Hero is one of the best episodes (The New Justice Team theme music is the icing on the cake.) of Futurama it's a surprise I never got round to drawing Fry, Leela or Bender in their superhero costumes sooner.
In my original sketch, I had his eyes drawn as they usually are but I eventually went and used the two circles. I guess I'm too used to the general style but it was best to have a go at keeping the costume the way it was in the show. And being me, I had to add emphasis to his crown and cloak. Knowing Bender, he would like to flaunt it.

Of course, when I have more time, Cloberella and Captain Yesterday will follow. A bigger pic with all three will come later, and maybe there will be one of The Zookeeper and his animals.

Also, I know some people want to see certain things from the original 4 seasons to return, the superhero aliases being one of them. I for one don't want it to happen as it's not like Futurama to have recycled plot points. Also, they ran out of miracle cream. However, I wouldn't mind seeing a spin-off comic. Remember I said I was planning a fan-comic? It might be worth having a go at.
